I never write much on my photos, I'm not really one for words, but I'm always happy to chat back.
When I do write, I'll tend to write a small story perhaps, something that I imagined as I took the photo or processed it later.
Most of my work is about science, in particular thermodynamics - specifically entropy. Watching everything corrode, decay and it's entropy increase - eventually becoming "useless". It's such an amazing thing to witness, the undoing of everything we have worked so hard to do - the inevitability of it, and our obsession with preventing it.
I also love to take pictures of moving light, to create patterns using things I see.
Finally sometimes I'll take a photo to try and capture a moment, a feeling - but again, I don't like to tell you too much about what to feel, look at the photo, imagine what you want - it's your moment after all, as much as it was ever mine.
